Rotary Club of Tamworth Sunrise Hosts 007-Themed Casino Royale Charity Poker Game | The daily leader of the North

Rotarian Helen Singh has described herself as a “hopeless” gambler but is still looking forward to the Casino Royale ball. “We have friends who come from out of town and make it a weekend,” she said. “It’s a very good social evening.” The event will feature a live band and every dollar raised for charitable stays at Tamworth. “We haven’t been able to do that in the last two years with COVID, so we’re really excited to make it happen again,” Singh said. “This is our biggest fundraiser. It’s been two years since we’ve been able to give the same amount back to the community and support these charities.” Our reporters work hard to provide local, up-to-date news to the community.
