Rivers Casino Online, Mobile Sportsbook Receives Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Approval – CBS Pittsburgh



PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s online sports betting platform is now live, as the PA Gaming Control Board approved operations on Thursday.

Online and mobile sports betting can be found on BetRivers.com, as the board approved full-time operations after a two-day test period earlier this week.

Meanwhile, a lot of progress has been made for the permanent bookmaker located in the casino. After getting approval in late 2018, a temporary facility was launched while construction continued at the casino. Further details have been provided for the permanent setup which is nearing completion.

The permanent bookmaker will be located in the former Levels Lounge area. The $ 5 million project will include 5,500 square feet of space with club chairs and tables that can accommodate nearly 200 people. Two 50.5 ‘x 7’ central LED monitors will be suspended for viewing pleasure, along with 24 HD flat screen monitors for watching matches and events in sports betting.

In addition, 18 self-service betting kiosks will also be available with six betting windows.

Rivers Casino staff expect the permanent bookmaker to open in the fall of this year.
