Daniel Craig recently revealed why he agreed to play the role of james bond in 2006. “

The actor is said to have been cast as a British spy in his very first Bond film Casino Royale then later he made four films until no time to die which was released last year.

Speaking on the film’s six-part podcast via Independent, Craig explained, “I can’t recreate what you did before. As brilliant as that is, I can’t do it. I can’t come in and try to be something that people expect.

The actor told his producers he could come and reinvent it because it would be “fascinating and interesting”.

Craig expressed his gratitude to the producers who did not say goodbye to him, but instead said they had “the same idea in mind”.

Meanwhile, producer Bond Wilson also spoke about the age of the actor last month who would play the next 007 in the upcoming film.
