Now that Daniel Craig’s rough and rugged 007 has – SPOILER ALERT! – was blown to bits by his own rockets, attention has turned to see how EON Productions and Sony can once again reimagine the character, and more importantly, who will reprise the iconic role of suave, super-spy – James Jump. Various names have recently been dropped in connection with the coveted role – Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden, Tom Hiddleston, Bridgertonby Rege-Jean Page, Foreign star Sam Heughan, Daniel Kaluuya, Henry Golding, as well as Supes and the witcher himself Henry Cavill – just to name a few. Perhaps, as producer Barbara Broccoli recently hinted, albeit very vaguely, the new Bond could be non-binary, or perhaps female? Only time will tell…

When the world needs a new Bond to continue the franchise, what better time than now to launch the latest film to successfully revive the character, 2006 CASINO ROYALagainst arguably the other strongest entry in the series Craig, 2012 FALL FROM THE SKY. When Daniel Craig was unveiled as the new Bond at a massive media event in 2005, which Craig would later describe as a “damn train wreck”, fans were Rebell on the actor wearing a lifejacket aboard the Royal Navy boat that took him down the Thames, apparently chewing gum, being too blond, and also being a little short to play their beloved James Bond. Just imagine being chosen as the legendary spy in today’s more advanced digital world of instant public opinion… daunting! However, Craig continued to defy his critics in what was a muscular, franchise-saving turn as Bond, and although a writers’ strike partly affected the quality of the follow-up Quantum of Comfort In 2008, celestial fall brought a more human Bond to the franchise and is considered one of the greatest Bond films of all time.

So grab a Martini, shaken not stirred of course, as we find out which of these Bond behemoths will prevail and which will sink faster than a Venetian building because now you know what it’s time for… FACE!
